Wedding Day | Sher Lyn & Raymond
It is well-known that Red plays a significant role in Chinese weddings, because this color symbolizes success, honor, fertility, and love. Traditionally, decorations at Chinese weddings are generally in red, and so is the bride's dress.
In modern days now, most of the bride have opted for a more Western celebration. While it is always the couple's preference in terms of color theme, Sher Lyn and Raymond decided to honor their roots as Chinese, and splash in the color tone of Red. It was rather refreshing to see not only the bride, but also the " Ji Mui " - bride's sister troops, dressed up in matching red for the morning gate crash game session.
And how can we ignore the groom? Looking all dashing, Raymond picked up his bride in a full set customary attire with "Xiu Qiu " - red embroidered ball tied in front of his chest.
Don't we all agree that Red is just Oh-So-Festive ?
